As a freelance costume designer, fabricator and dreamer, Harfert collaborated with Bianca Cabrera of Blind Tiger Society, Sonya Smith, Lucid Chandelier, Heather Baer of Cielo Vertical, Sarah Bush Dancer Project, Contra Costa School of Performing Arts, Chelsea Van Billard, Sarah Keeney, Jhia Jackson of J.habitus, BANDALOOP, and Fog Beast.
She is known for creating vibrant, detailed costumes that both enhance the artistic vision of the choreographer and can stand alone. Her projects often employ the mixed use of classic and alternative “fabrics” such as spandex, velvet, latex, upcycled objects, plastic, and more.
